Hailing from the basic lifestyle, the nonchalant director who made instant hit with his Pasanga, Pandiaraj is on the verge of his next movie.
He made his directorial venture with his Pasanga which made a deep impact on the screens and to the film critics. His next movie is said to have titled as Marina with Siva Karthikeyan, the TV compere to be the hero with Oviya opposite to him. Pandiaraj hinted that this movie will focus on the illiterate children dwelling around the beach shores of Marina. Those who will come under the lens will be snack sellers, acrobats who excel on sea waves.

The story will depict the hand to mouth existence of these children at the core, he added. The film will have the charm of acting from Jayaprakash and Pakoda both who shot into fame through Pasanga. Pandiaraj has enfolded the cameraman Vijay for this film ( who has done the marvel with lens in Pasanga, Vamsam and Balaji Sakthivel’s Kaadhal). This movie will see the debut for Krish as the music composer, who did his studies at London’s Trinity College of Music. Pandiaraj has set the Bengal sea as the background and Marina as the prime location for this movie. Marina comes to the fore through another fame.

The makers have spent lot of money for this song and costumes for this song.

The final editing of the film is under progress and Harris Jayraj is busy working on the songs. In all aspects the audio is expected to hit the stores mostly in the month of October.

Vijay & Ileana in never-seen-before costumes

Costumes in Shankar's films have always impressed the audience. Be it the old man getup of Kamal Hassan in Indian or Rajinikanth's superhero look in Endhiran, the filmmaker has been taking an extra care towards his actors attires and make-ups. Now, the director is doing the same for his forthcoming film Nanban.

According to reports, Shankar is leaving no stone unturned to show his lead actors in colourful way on silver screen. The director has chosen special attires and costumes for Vijay and Ileana D'Cruz for a song, which is currently being filmed in Chennai. The actors will be seen in never-seen before getups and different make-ups, add reports.

Vijay is said to be having four special getups and Ileana has some different looks in the song. The actors are spending close to two hours each to get their make-up done and remove it for the song, which is being choreographed by Farah Khan.

Meanwhile, sources have said the rumours on Ileana's ankle injury are false. The actress is fine and actively working on the song. Nanban, which is a remake of Bollywood movie 3 Idiots, will hit the screens in Diwali.
