Mallika Sherawat's ‘Osthi’ item song cost 1.2 crores

 

Earlier, it was reported that sexy siren Mallika Sherawat will perform as Kollywood’s Munni , the item song in Simbu’s Osthi (remake of Dabangg). Reportedly the actress has been paid a whopping Rs. 1.2 crores to do this item number in Tamil.

And Shruti Haasan is not giving voice for her. Now the latest buzz is that veteran singer L.R. Eshwari and Simbu’s father T. Rajendar have sung this racy number. In Osthi, music director Thaman has used the tunes from two songs of the Telugu flick Mirapakai; this much hyped item number is yet to be recorded and shot.

Mallika Sherawat is flying down to Chennai to dance with Simbu

Bollywood hot item girl Mallika Sherawat is flying down to Chennai this week to shake her legs with Simbu foe the special item number in Osthi.

The song will be canned in two or three days and will be wrapped up by this weekend.    A grand set has been erected for the item song in a popular studio in Chennai.  The team has come out with the word Kalasala in place of Munni for the Tamil version. The song will be picturised ON Simbu, Mallika Sherawat, Sonu Sood and other artistes. She is roped in for a whopping amount and it's revealed that some crores are to be spent on this single song itself.

Simbu is playing the role of a carefree police officer while Richa is playing the role of his love interest. Jithan Ramesh is playing a crucial role while Sonu Sood will be seen as a baddie. Directed by Dharani, the film is the remake of the 2010 blockbuster Hindi film Dabangg.

Shruti Hassan sings for Mallika in Simbu's Osthi

 

It is confirmed that Bollywood item bomb Mallika Sherawat has been selected as Simbu’s Munni for Osthi. Now we hear that Mallika Sherawat is all set to shake her legs for the song sung by Shruthi Haasan. Yes, Shruti Hassan is lending her voice for this sizzling hot item number.

The filmmakers have approached Shruti Hassan for taking her call sheet and the actress without any second thought has accepted the deal. Thaman music director of the film is going to use his recent tune from Telugu movie Mirapakaya. The composition of the song is going to start soon.

Mallika Sherawat has signed the item song for a whopping amount of Rs 1.25 crore and this is said to be the highest ever paid actress for an item song in Tamil cinema.

So with Mallika Sherawat on screen and Shruthi Haasan off screen, this song is sure to turn as a hottest item number ever!!!!!

Mallika Sherawat charges Rs 1.25 cr for Osthi item song

 

Mallika Sherawat is all set to become the highest ever paid actress for an item song in the Tamil film history. The actress, who has been signed to do the special number in Osthi, has reportedly getting Rs 1.25 crore in the forthcoming Tamil movie, which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg.

The Bollywood actress, who made her debut in Tamil movie with Kamal Hassan's Dasavatharam, has been roped in for the item number in Osthi. The makers of the film, who approached many top B-town actresses like Katrina Kaif and Vidya Balan, want to make it as big as its original song 'Munni badnaam hui..', which was done by Malaika Arora Khan.

The special song on Mallika Sherawat, Silambarasan and Sonu Sood will be shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad by this month end. Thaman has scored the music for the peppy number. However, Simbu has not revealed the price, which is paid for the actress.

Silamabarasan and Richa Gangopadhyay starrer Osthi will hit the screens during Diwali.
