Will Vadivelu accept Sundar C's offer?

 

Comedian Vadivelu has been lying low for quite sometime now after the election campaigns that he was vociferously involved went haywire. The actor who has not taken up acting since then might soon be donning the comedian's cap in Sundar C's upcoming directorial venture. This film will have brand Sundar C stamped all over it in terms of comedy.

The director seems to have presented Vadivelu with a role, which sources reveal is abundant with comedy, one which Vadivelu will not be able to say no to. Sundar C is now busy with the pre-production work of this film which is touted to soon go on floors. The script is ready and the lead actors are being finalized. This film is also believed to give Vadivelu a fresh lease of life.

Sundar has roped in RJ Shiva for one of the lead's roles and he will be seen after a hiatus. Vimal and Anjali have also been signed on board this project, which is going to be a laugh riot right from the word 'go'.

This yet-to-be-titled film will be produced under Sundar C's home productions banner Avini Cine Max. The director along with his core team will soon come out with an official announcement regarding this film, before it starts rolling reveal sources in the know.

Vadivelu's out of court settlement on land case

 

Popular comedian Vadivelu’s land issue made lot of noise a few months ago. Now reports have come in that Vadivelu has now settled the matter peacefully.

Retired bank official Pazhaniappan who is the owner of the land had filed a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner that Vadivelu and family usurped his 34 cents of lands through forged documents.

After the complaint was lodged police filed a case on Vadivelu and others. The police told Vadivelu that he had purchased Pazhaniappan’s land after forging the documents. Following this Vadivelu accepted to solve the issue peacefully by returning the land its rightful owner Pazhaniappan.

No decision on roping in Vadivelu for Rana: KSR

Director K S Ravikumar has said that no decision on roping in Vadivelu for 'Rana', his forthcoming film with Superstar Rajinikanth, had been taken and things would be finalised only after Rajini is back from Singapore.

The 'Muthu' and 'Padayappa' director was reacting to reports appeared in a section of the media, claiming that Rajini wants to have Vadivelu in the project, as he would like to give a fresh lease of life to the comedian, who is suffering for his 'comments' in the campaign during the Assembly polls.

"We all are waiting for the Superstar to come to India. His health is the first and foremost priority. We will decide on Rana only after he is back. As of now, Rajini and Deepika alone have been confirmed for the film," he said.

Reassuring that the project is very much on, Ravikumar added: "Rajini is very interested to restart 'Rana'. It is his ambitious film and it is going to be a real treat to all his fans. I may visit him in Singapore soon."
