It's official. Studio Green, a production house which made some of the important movies of Suriya and Karthi, has signed up director Venkat Prabhu for its next venture. But a guessing game is on as to who would be the protagonist of the new project, among the two brothers.

Says KE Gnanavel Raja (cousin of Suriya-Karthi), who runs Studio Green, "Yes, Venkat Prabhu will direct a film for us. However, we have not yet decided other details. Either Suriya or Karthi might play the lead role. Or it may even be a Telugu movie even with a top-notch hero from there."

Remember Studio Green initially acquired the release rights of 'Mankatha', the latest film of Venkat Prabhu, before the project changed hands to Sun Pictures. "It was at that time Gnanavel Raja and Venkat Prabhu decided to come together for a movie," sources say.

Meanwhile, there are no stopping to the rumours that Venkat Prabhu's next film would be with Ajith again, as the 'Thala' is totally impressed with the director and with the success of his 50th movie. The ball is in the director's court, one has to say, and it is expected that he would clear the air soon.

The girl who initially made waves in Samuthirakani's Sasikumar starrer Nadodigal, after EE's success has been flooded with offers.

The gifted actress, who believes performance-oriented roles than glamour, is quite choosy.
Says Ananya, “At the moment, I have four films in Malayalam, one in Telugu and another in Tamil. Yes I have been getting a lot of offers from Tamil especially after EE became a sensational hit."

The buzz is that Ananya wants to graduate into a big film heroine, meaning working with stars like Vijay, Ajith or Suriya.
