Sneha says that Namitha’s friendship is the only strength for her

Actresses Sneha and Namitha are very close friends. Both of them shared the screen in the film Naan Avan Illai. Right from that time, they have become close friends.
Whenever Namitha comes to Chennai, she will meet Sneha. Both of them go for dinners and lunches. Recently they had been to London and both of them shopped together heavily.
Sneha while speaking about her friendship with Namitha said, "Though actors and actresses are popular, we are also human beings. Like others we also have feelings and emotions. Whenever I am sad or depressed I call Namitha who is in Mumbai over the phone. She use to console me with soothing words. Namitha is the only friend I can share about my personal matters. I am very affectionate towards her. Namitha’s friendship is my only strength. "
Sneha is currently acting in Murattu Kalai and Vidiyal. She is also acting in a Telugu and a Malayalam film.

Velayudham isn’t rip-off of Telugu movie Azad

Jayam Ravi, who is directing his first movie outside his home banner, has clarified the rumours, which claimed that his Velayudham is a rip-off of Telugu blockbuster Azad. The filmmaker has said that the upcoming Tamil movie is not a remake of the Tollywood film.
The director says that he was somewhat inspired by Azad but he penned the original script for Velayudham on his own. He took only a small portion of the Telugu film and rest other story was written by him. Jayam Raja further explains that the director of the original film, Tirupathi Swamy was his friend and he narrated the story to him before approaching Nagarjuna.
Jayam Raja says that he just took a thread of it and etched the complete story. Hence, he believes that Velayudham is not a remake. However, to be on the safer side, he purchased the remake rights of Azad, concludes the filmmaker.
Velayudham starring Vijay, Genelia D’Souza and Hansika Motwani is a superhero movie, which is hitting the screens for Diwali.

Billa 2 is gearing up for soon release

Bharath speaks about Aravaan

Bharath is doing a cameo in ‘Aravaan’, which is directed by Vasanthabalan, with whom he had done Veyyil before.
‘It is a small yet interesting role which leads to turning point in the script,’ he says.

‘Great stars like MGR, Sivaji Ganesan and Rajinikanth have done guest roles. So there is no wrong in doing cameos. In fact, bagging such offers shows how popular one is,’ Bharath says.
Vasanthabalan is a great director and I am happy to work with him again, the actor adds.
At present, Bharath is doing ’555′, an action thriller directed by Sasi.

Amala Paul and Andrea Jeremiah with Simbu in Vaada

The much talked movie Vaada is in the final stage of pre-production works. Silambarasan and Vetrimaran’s movieVada Chennai have started finalising the cast and have already roped in Amala Paul to play one of the female lead roles in the forthcoming Tamil movie.

Sources say that director Vetrimaran has signed Amala Paul and is now considering Andrea Jeremiah for the other female lead. He has also roped in Telugu actor Rana Daggubati for a key character in the upcoming film. The filmmaker, who took close to one year to give shape for the script, has finished the scripting works.
Vetrimaran is planning to start the project once Silambarasan completes his forthcoming Tamil movieOsthi, which will hit the screens on November 11. The movie is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri under the banner Cloud Nine.

Shriya's Diwali plans

Shriya loves the festival of lights and usually takes time out from her insane shooting schedule to chill with family and friends. The actress who got hitched earlier this year is upbeat about her role. She plays a prostitute in the film but clarifies that there will be no sleaziness involved as the director has shot everything in an aesthetic manner.
