The audio launch of Manicam Narayanan's Seventh Channel Productions' Vithagan was a star studded affair at the Satyam cinemas on Sunday morning.

Angry Parthiban walked out from Ambuli dubbing

Actor Parthiban has donned the guest role in the Tamil 3D family titled Ambuli. It seems that when he saw the film, he was upset because some of the sequences of this film were shot using dupes. He also insisted that his salary should be paid immediately.

Angered by this, he has left the dubbing studios without dubbing. When asked Parthiban about this, he has refused by saying, "There is no problem between me and directors Hari Shankar and Hareesh Narayanan in the dubbing matter. So far I have not seen the film Ambuli. I am busy in the works connected with the release of my film Vithagan. I had requested them to release Ambuli after Vithagan. The dubbing work of this film Ambuli is yet to commence. "

Director Hari Shankar while speaking about this issue said, "There is no due of salary to Parthiban. We have already paid his full salary. There were no problems between us in the dubbing matter. He fully cooperated with us. When we called him for dubbing, he said that he wanted to see the whole film. We will be screening the film for him in a day or two. We had used a dupe for Parthiban in one stunt scene."

Parthiban & Priyamani plays Bharathiraja's 'Annakodiyum Kodi Veeranum' -

 

R Parthiban is playing a dual role in Bharathiraja's 'Annakodiyum Kodi Veeranum', which is expected to go on floors by September. "It is a lifetime project and I am extremely happy to work with the Iyakkumar Imayam," he says.

Besides Parthiban, the film will have Priyamani, Parvathi Menon of 'Poo' fame, Meenal and a host of newfaces in pivotal roles. Remember Priyamani was introduced to Kollywood by Bharathiraja in 'Kangalal Kaidhu Sei'.


Adds Parthiban, who is a student of K Bhagyaraj, who in turn is a student of Bharathiraja, "I am thankful to Bharathiraja for choosing me for the project. He could have selected any leading hero for the character I am doing in this film."

'Annakodiym Kodi Veeranum', according to Bharathiraja, is his dream project and his challenge to young filmmakers. "I will prove myself once again with this film," he said earlier. G V Prakash Kumar is composing music.
