Tamanna likely to face ban in Kollywood!.

South Side top actress Tamanna is in the lines of facing ban in Kollywood,as the actress flew down to Sri Lanka for Ram Charan's Racha movie.

We are aware that several organisations in Tamil film industry are in protests against Sri Lanka against the violence committed by the Sri Lankan government against the Tamilians. As of that Tamil Film Industry had passed on a resolution stating not to go to Sri Lanka for any film shoot.It was also stated that whoever visits Srilanka for the shootings of films will be banned from the industry.

In a recent interview Tamanna stated that she was flewing down to Sri Lanka for a film shoot.Hence tamil film industry called on and decided not to sign up any new film with the Tamanna and also decided for to take off her latest film Venghai from the theatres.

Earlier it was Asin who faced the ban and now it is the turn of Tamanna who flew to Sri Lanka for a film shoot.

Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead roles Vettai movie theatrical and other rights of the film are entirly bagged by India's top production house UTV Motion pictures.

Linguswamy is shaping up this action-packed family entertainer which deals with two brothers settled in Thoothukudi.Madhavan to be the elder one playing the role of a police officer.Vettai shooting is at rapid pace and is in final legs of shooting.

Vettai movie to be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and Linguswamy is producing this film along with his borther Subash Chandra Bose under Thirupathi Brothers banner.Yuvan Shankar Raja is rendering tunes for this film while cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Anthony Gonsalves.

UTV Motion pictures are in plans to release Vettai movie in three laguanges in the mont of November this year.

Franco’s acting surprised Freida Pinto

Actress Freida Pinto was surprised by James Franco’s unique acting style but learnt a lot from him when they worked together on “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”.

“He’s got his own unique and distinctive style of acting. It’s not conventional at all. It does take you by surprise initially, but it’s all about being flexible and trying to understand how another actor works,” contactmusic.com quoted Freida as saying.

“I found a lot of things in his acting style that I could pick up and learn from,” she added.

Way2movies had earlier reported that the Dabangg star Salman Khan will join the sets of Osthi, Tamil remake, to give some tips & suggestions for Simbu for the film. But after that there is no buzz regarding Salman meeting up Simbu. However certain media reports revealed that Salman has denied meeting Simbu as he is busy with his back to back schedules.

Simbu has come out with a clarification stating that, Salman has not refused to meet him but it was of his busy schedules he was unable to make up to the sets of Osthi. In fact the team of Osthi is plans of inviting the ace Bollywood star for the audio launch of the film. It can be noted here that his brother Arbazz Khan, the producer of Dabangg has graced the movie launch of Osthi.

Munnabhai Chale Amerika has nothing to do with US

Says cirkit Arshad Warsi. The shooting of the third installment of Munnabhai series is scheduled to start mid 2012 but Arshad clarifies that Munnabhai Chale Amerika has nothing to do with US brushing aside the initial script, which deals with both Munna and cirkit going to US to meet President.

Arshad makes it clear that the third installment will be completely new as the editor/writer/director Raj Kumar Hirani altered his initial script completely considering Shah Rukh Khan already met President of US in My Name Is Khan [2010].

So the trailer which was shot with America in mind will be put on hold as of now. While Hirani is done with the script he is tightlipped about the third film of Munnabhai franchise. Right now Raju Hirani is busy with Ferrari Ki Sawari, which he penned and his producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra is also busy with his English projects.

She was his biggest fan before entering the industry, she was his biggest admirer and after working with him in a couple of movies, Priyanka Chopra from a die hard fan of King Khan turned into his best friend off late.

It was evident considering Priyanka being a part of Kolkatta Knight Riders IPL matches apart from the digs that both took against took at each other. So friends often say yes to each other and as a result when SRK asked Priyanka about her small stint in Ra.One, the actress immediately agreed to be a part of it.

It will be a long drawn romantic sequence and Ra.One being a super-hero film, looks like Priyanka also needs some stunts to be performed. An item number is also in the offering taking into account SRK’s ambitious project but King Khan will take a decision on it.

Producers of the film are in consultation with designer Manish Malhotra for Priyanka’s larger than life costumes. The actress is expected to fly down next week to be a part of the shoot.

Well, Priyanka’s expertise from films like Don, Drona and Don 2 will certainly help the fights cause but don’t know whether SRK said Piggy’s acting stint in Ra.One to Kareena as she hardly meets eye to eye with Pigyy Chops.

Hansika made her debut in Tamil through the film Engeyum Kadhal. She is one of the leading actresses in Telugu film industry. Currently she is pairing with Vijay in the Tamil film Velayudham and also with Udhayanidhi Stalin in the Tamil film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.

If the reports are to be believed, then Ulaka Naayakan Kamal Hassan's 1990 hit Tamil comedy film 'Michael Madana Kama Rajan' is now all set to be remade into Bollywood. This Tamil film 'Michael Madana Kama Rajan' is a story about quadruplets - Michael, Madhana, Kama and Rajan and all were played by Kamal Haasan. The movie is directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao while Kamal had also written and produced it.

Priyadarshan, who himself is an expert in remaking films from South into Bollywood has always planned to remake this film in Hindi with his mentor Akshay Kumar playing all the four lead roles. Now it's also hearing that the lady director of Bollywood, Farah Khan also is planning the same, but the only change will be that instead of Akshay Kumar, it will be Salman Khan in the lead roles.

Both Priyadarshan and Farah Khan are trying their best to acquire the rights of this yesteryear Tamil film from it's producer, none other than the Kamal Hassan himself. Let's wait and see, among these two who will emerge as a winner and also for the new version of this popular comedy film with either Akshay Kumar or Salman Khan portraying all the four leading characters in this film.

Bollywood hero Salman Khan is keeping an eye on Kollywood releases. The actor is impressed with south films and is very keen to remake them in Hindi. He recently appeared on screen with the remake of Uthamaputhiran in Hindi which is titled as Ready. His future projects are also the remakes of Kaavalan and Thillalangadi.

Now latest buzz is that Salman has expressed his desire to remake Raghavendra Lawrence Kanchana in Hindi. In fact Salman has recently watched the promos of Kanchana and was very much impressed. Kanchana is the sequel to Muni which was released in the year 2006.

Lawrence says "The film will be a roller-coaster ride as it has all the elements of entertainment including thrill, suspense, action and comedy. The film will be enjoyed by all sections of audiences without any age limit. I played an unusual role in the film and Sarath Kumar plays a totally different role. Lakshmi Rai has played the heroine.".

Kanchana belongs to horror genre and is directed and written by Raghava Lawrence.

Kanchana is all set to release by the end of this month.

By hearing to this Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin confessed that there no such title song in this film.Harris Jayraj is still working on the songs.He also further informed that 7aam Arivu audio launch to be delayed as Harris Gadgets were not functioning properly.

Thala's Billa 2 to use Avatar 2 technology

We are here to give one more update of Thala Ajith's next film Billa 2.Ajith is mostly seen in a common face of a Don in Mankatha and Billa 2 films.

Now the latest update of Thala's Billa 2 is that Director Chakri Toleti and cinematographer R.D. Rajashekar are in plans to use EPIC Camera with 5K Resolution for the shooting of Billa 2 movie.The same technologies were being used by James Cameron for his sequel film Avatar-2.So Ajith's Bailla 2 will be picturised as Avatar 2.

Chakri Toleti is busy in pre production works of Billa 2 and also working on locations for shooting of the film.The shooting Ajith's Billa 2 to kick start from this weekend in Hyderabad.

Amala Paul says “I have not even heard of the film’s title, so how can I sign a film without hearing the name and script”. Remember DSP's 'Poo Parikka Neeyum Pogathey' in Unakkum Enakkum? The song carries similar traces over its pattern and so are the style of renditions by DSP and MLR Karthikeyan. The visuals will have more to decide on the song's result. There isn't much usage of instrumentals while we can sense some innovative works in fill-ins. Most of the lines by Vivega are clichéd as we have heard some in many songs. Moreover, the song is like a slow poison that will capture our interests as the time proceeds.

Anjana Sukhani’s special song in Bejawada Rowdilu

Ram Gopal Varma’s controversial production venture Bejawada Rowdilu is progressing in Hyderabad. Naga Chaitanya is playing the lead role in the film that moves in the backdrop of Vijayawada Rowdyism.

Recently, director Vivek Krishna has canned an item number in a specially erected set in aluminum factory in Gachibowli. Anjana Sukhani of Don Seenu fame sizzled in this item number penned by Sirasri. Inside sources reveal that the song has come out quite well and Anjana is sure to set the screens on fire with this special song.

Bejawada Rowdilu is being produced jointly by RGV and Kiran Kumar Koneru on Shreya productions banner.
