Katrina To Face Kareena Onscreen For The First Time
Our birdies found out from sources that British hot beauty and Salman's ex, Katrina Kaif will also feature in the most awaited movie. But let us tell you it's not for a full length role. In fact the actress will only be seen in a blink-and-miss role.
Salman who plays the title role is said to be bodyguard for Katrina, who will appear for a scene in the movie as herself. Yeah, so that means one can look forward to see this ex-couple, Salman and Kat, together on the screen.
Hmm already they are doing YRF's movie 'Ek Tha Tiger', but before that with 'Bodyguard' looks like one can have a teaser of the two together.
'Body Guard' is produced by Salman's sister Alvira and brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and is being directed by Siddique who directed the original, Malayalam version. The movie is expected to release some time during the festival season of Eid-Ganesh Chathurthi.

Meet The Proud Vegetarian - Amrita Rao
The 30-year-old looks casual in a pair of shorts and a clingy T-shirt that reads 'Powered by Tofu' in the ad, through which she proclaims: "I Am Amrita Rao, and I Am a Vegetarian".
"I call being vegetarian the Wow Rao diet. Wow because I know that being vegetarian is the best thing I can do for myself, the animals and the environment," Amrita said in a press statement.

Venkat Prabhu's new film titled as Neradi Olibarappu
Kollywood renowed and top listed director Venkat Prabhu has recently wrapped the shooting of Thala Ajith's Mankatha movie and is all set to start his new film Neradi Olibarappu which is to be a small budget film.Venkat Prabhu to direct Neradi Olibarappu which is touted to be a full length comedy entertainer as of his earlier films Goa,Saroja. The pre production works of the film are under progress as Venkat Prabhu is busy in post production works of Mankatha movie. As and when completely himself free from Mankatha he start shooting of Neradi Olibarappu.
Other details of cast & crew are yet to be finalised.Neradi Olibarappu is being produced by Actress Sona Heiden under Uniq Productions banner.

Thala Ajith's Mankatha first rough copy was screened to producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri recently.Dhayanidhi Alagiri who watched the rough copy of Mankatha was excited and pinned the hopes as it was for sure to be the biggest hit of the year.Dhayanidhi Alagiri while watching the rough copy and tweeted after finishing first half "Watched the first half of Mankatha last night... It has come out rely well... the interval block is a big hit... U guys will love it!!!"
And said about second half in twitter as "Finished watching the second half... I've never seen Ajith Saar in this kind of role... never!!! Outstanding performance!"
Finally the producer of the film said that Mankatha audio will release by the end of July and the movie is slated to release in August.
Dhanush resumes for final schedule of Irandam Ulagam

Lure of the Wicked, cackle this!
Lure of the Wicked by author Karina Cooper is the second novel in her Dark Mission series. While this book was not as punchy as book one, Blood of the Wicked, I really enjoyed the character development in her futuristic series of butt-kicking witches.
Plot:

She's an agent of the Holy Order, trained to hunt the guilty and render justice. I'm going to strongly recommend that if you have yet to read this series make sure to grab the first book before moving on to this one. So much happens in book one that in order for you to really get who Naomi is you will need to see where it all starts. The series continues to grow and develop in Lure of the Wicked with the latest book adding a new layer to the feast Karina is creating with her words. Naomi is a witch-hunter tuff chick with a big emotional hole in her heart because she was abandoned and left to fend for herself as a young girl. I really did feel for her character. I would have liked to see a little more of a change in her by the end of the story, because she seems to keep herself locked away from the people around her. Emotionally unavailable much? Still I like her, one ballsy lady who wont take any crap from those around her.
Phineas character was a little harder for me to get into, he didn't really seem like a good match for Naomi. She's more street thug while he is definitely high brow silver spoon fancy pants. He does have his moments of tuff guy but those were a bit too few and far between. Fashion and high end cars are what Phineas is all about while Naomi's is out kicking witch butt and shooting at crap. By the end I did feel that it kinda works between them but not who I would have seen her with. I did like that you don't get a "happily ever after" ending because that would have NEVER worked with these two. What you get is a sorta, and that's already spilling too much about this story. ;) The best part about these two is the sex! Good undead lordy I had to fan myself several times throughout the book; if nothing else they should just not talk and hump all day long. lol
Overall the book was well-written packed with action in vivid detail, the growing of things to come is what has me most excited. I'm still holding out for a Jonas book to make its way down the pipes, and to get a little more info on where the heck Silas went during all those years he left the mission in Seattle. I have high expectations from this author because she is THAT good, so if my rating seems harsh please don't hex me with a spell. lol Lots more to come in this series and I for one can't wait!
Aishwarya Rai Requests The French Honour To Be Postponed
"Thank you all for being here. The current situation has really disturbed and shocked all of us. I thank the French embassy for being supportive and considering the sensitivity of the situation. They have been kind to consider me and my family's request to postpone the celebration till another time. We as Indians can't go ahead and celebrate in such a situation," Aishwarya told reporters at the event.
Mumbai was hit by three blasts that left at least 20 people dead and over 100 injured on Wednesday evening.
The event for honouring Aishwarya with "Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters" was being held in New Delhi, but her heart was with those affected by the tragedy.
"The terrible blasts have shook us, but we shall stand strong. They (terrorists) should get it straight that we won't let them succeed. You cannot break us, we all believe in deep strong Indian spirit. You will not get the better of us. God bless us and Jai Hind," added Aishwarya, who was accompanied by her actor-husband Abhishek Bachchan.
The 37-year-old's appearance was highly anticipated as it was her second public outing ever since the announcement of her pregnancy. She did not disappoint by being away from shutterbugs, and looked extremely graceful in a yellow and parrot green sari, with the natural glow of an expectant mother.
French Ambassdor Jerome Bonnafont said: "The terrible series of blast has shocked all of us. It seems the time is not right. I pay my condolence and want the Indian people to know that the government of France is with them."
