The transition from being a chubby and cute child actress to a beautiful young lady, winning the hearts of Tamil audiences was a smooth ride for Hansika.
She is working with some of the big projects in Tamil and Telugu and her dates are blocked for 2011.
She is just back from Amsterdam, where she was shooting a song for her new Telugu film.The actress flew straight to Chennai where she is shooting an ad at AVM Studios.
She is rumoured to have been signed up by the leading textile shop in south India- Chennai Silks.
Hansika has been chosen after the textile giant did a market survey and realised that she is ideal for their Aadi season special ad promotions. Her Velayudham where she plays Vijay’s heroine is getting ready for release in August.
Contrary to reports in a leading English daily, Hansika is commanding and getting more than 50 Lakhs for a film and has signed this ad for a whopping amount.
