There were reports some time back that Arya and Naren would play lead roles in a movie to be directed by Mollywood filmmaker Raj Menon and Aadhi, the ‘Eeram’ and ‘Mirugam’ actor, would play an all important guest role in it. He has cleared the air on it now.

“It was true that Raj Menon, who is a relative to Sindhu Menon (his co-star in ‘Eeram’) approached me for a cameo in the Arya-Naren starrer (Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi). I accepted the offer since the story was interesting. But there was no communication from Raj after that,” he says.

Saying that he would be happy to do guest roles if the script and his character impresses him, Aadhi says with a smile, “I am not so adamant to play lead roles alone. All that I want is to be part of meaningful movies which offer me challenging characters.”

On his next, ‘Aravaan’, he says, “I am eagerly looking forward for the film’s release. Director Vasanthabalan is an extremely talented filmmaker who has shaped up the movie in a beautiful way. I am sure that Aravaan would be a turning point in my acting career.”

Madhavan-Arya-Bharath in 'Raajneeti' Tamil Remake

http://icdn1.indiaglitz.com/tamil/news/aryamadhavan060911_m.jpg
Bollywood blockbuster Raajneeti is the latest movie, which will be remade in Tamil. UTV Motion Pictures is planning to remake the film in Kollywood with Aarya, Madhavan, Prakash Raj, Sathyaraj and Bharath in the leads.

Arya might do Ranbir's role in the Tamil version of the hit Hindi multistarrer

Politics and films go hand-inglove in Tamil Nadu. And, politically-charged films have often created a stir in the state. Based on this, if rumours are to be believed, a Mumbai-based corporate is planning to remake the Bollywood superhit Raajneeti in Tamil. Arya is said to be the frontrunner to play Ranbir Kapoor's role in the Tamil version.

If the move comes through, the film could be among the biggest multistarrers in Tamil cinema as the original had big names like Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Nana Patekar, Katrina Kaif, Naseeruddin Shah and Arjun Rampal in the lead. The Kollywood names currently doing the rounds for the project are Madhavan, Arya, Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, and Bharath. The studio is looking at big-name directors who can pull-off multistarrers, for Raajneeti. Shankar and Lingusamy seem to be the frontrunners for the project.

"But, there are doubts about Shankar signing on the project as he is currently doing a remake with Nanban and might not be keen on doing another remake immediately," says a source. On the other hand, chances are bright for Lingusamy, as the director's upcoming Vettai is being co-produced by the studio. "He has also inked a threefilm deal with them for his other productions which might land him this flick," adds the source.

There was news that after Avan Ivan that Arya and Vishal are gays and are in love with each other.

When asked about this matter to Vishal, "Oh, you people have also started asking this question.

After Avan Ivan, people started calling Arya and me as gays. It was a big comedy to listen to this. Some people also asked me that why we both can’t act in the remake of the Hindi film Dostana.
Two men will love each other in that film. At that point of time, Arya in one of his interviews has mentioned that he loves me. I told him if you continue saying this, you will not get married.

Even in the social network Facebook, some of guys (gays) ask whether we can meet. I use to tell Arya very frequently that we are playfully speaking about this but people might take this seriously. There is no truth in this. We are just good friends."
