Karthi-Kajal Agarwal Bru Coffee Ad Video

Karthi Kajal AGarwal Bru Coffee Ad Pics
Notwithstanding the ‘undeclared’ in-house competition between him and elder brother and actor Suriya,Karthi appears to be ready to take on Suriya in the ad world as well. The brothers, who have become established stars in Tamil film industry, are now seemingly competing against each other in the world of advertisements and endorsements too!
While Suriya endorsing the Telecom brand AircelKarthi had taken up the Airtel assignment, the rival brand.
And the latest is that Karthi has been signed to be the brand ambassador of Bru Coffee, accompanied by pretty actress Kajal Agarwal. Interestingly Suriya and Jyothika are promoting Nescafe, a strong competitor to Bru.
The Bru Ad featuring the cute ‘Naan Mahaan Alla’pair is already being aired in the channels. The Tv commercial sees Kajal and Karthi going in a bike, when a police official stops them for a license. Kajal tries to escape the situation by telling them that she is teaching Karthi how to ride a bike, as Karthi does not have the necessary papers.
The police asks her to ride the bike and show and she rides it, much to the surprise of both Karthi and the police officials. At the end of the ad, when Karthi asks about how she learned to ride the bike, she mentions that its when he learned to give her the best coffee (indicating the Bru cup coffee in their hands).
The hot n happening Karthi has also said to have ‘floated’ a talk in the industry that he would be taking up any endorsement assignment if the pay packet is nothing less than Re.1 crore.
It appears that the star brothers-in-arms are well and truly on their way to occupying important slots in the advertising world as well!

The untold truth about Kamal Haasan’s Viswaroopam

Kamal Viswaroopam onlocation still
Kamal Haasan @ Viswaroopam onlocation still
Known for his elaborate planning prior to launching a project, it appears that actor Kamal Haasan has never planned as badly as this time. His upcoming film Viswaroopam has been mired into one controversy or the other ever since it was announced and even after the launch, it doesn’t appear to be proceeding at a great pace.

Selvaraghavan was to first direct the film but due to the ‘misunderstanding’ which crept between Kamal and Selvaa, the latter opted out of the film. After quitting the film, Selvaa reportedly cast Richa Gangopadhyay (who had been cast as one of the three heroines by Kamal for his film) as his heroine in the recently-released Mayakkam Enna oppositeDhanush.
Selvaa’s act of ‘taking away’ Richa from his film probably didn’t go down well with Kamal who then tried to cast Bollywood’s Sonakshi Sinha in her place. The choice then fell on Shriya Saran, Anushka and finally fell on Punjab-born Pooja Kumar, who lives in U.S. and was crowned ‘Miss India-USA’ in 1995. For your record, the 34-year old Pooja Kumar debuted as heroine in Tamil films with Kaadhal Rojave in 2000.
Andrea Jermaiah is the other heroine who is presently shooting along with Pooja Kumar and others in Jordan for the film’s second schedule. Rumours float in Kollywood to the effect that the reason for Kamal signing up Andrea is that the latter has let the former know many things about Selvaa.

Unlike Hollywood or even Bollywood, there are noauthentic collection figuresor agency tracking movierevenues.
Everything in Kollywood as far as b-ocollections are concerned has to be taken with not a pinch, but a spoon of salt. It is an industry driven by star fans who claim that every film of the star is a super hit and collections are more than any Hollywood blockbuster!
Under these circumstances,
http://cinehom.blogspot.com/  has put together a top ten based on trade reports.  We will not be reporting the actual figures, as every star worth his salt will go out of their way to prove that their film is a hit. Please note in an industry where actualfigures are difficult to obtain, a flop can be made into a hit with a bit of star power thrown in.
Drawing up a list of commercially successful movies, Tamilkey will only rate the film as a Blockbusters, Super Hits and Hits. These are the films selected after talking to trade analysts, theatre owners and distributors. You are welcome to disagree with the sify list.
BLOCKBUSTERS
MankathaWhy Factor- The film became a blockbuster due to the star power of Ajith and his fantastic opening. Added to that it was a solo release and got a five-day holiday weekend.
KanchanaWhy Factor- A complete mass masala entertainer which had comedy laced with horror, glamour and sentiments. Worked wonders with lady audiences and kids, though it carried an ‘A’ certificate!
SUPER HITS
Ko - Correct mix of peppy songs, action, lush locales and KV Anand’s content and packaging which was different.
Siruthai - The Karthi- Santhanam comedy combo clicked big time along with mass masala content. It proved that a remake of a proven hit with local nativity is always a safe bet.
Engeyum Eppothum- Debutant director Saravanan film on a bus accident with two parallel love stories with Jai- Anjali & Sarva- Ananya in the lead along with fresh music worked wonders.
HITS
Velayudham- Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s one-man show had the audiences lapping it up.
7aum Arivu- Aggressive promotions and Suriya’s charisma worked in favour of the film.
Deivathirumagal- Smart marketing, Vikram’s life-like performance with wonder kid Sara clicked.
Aadukalam- Dhanush’s award winning performance, Vetrimaran’s script & GV’s music helped.
Vaanam- STR’s opening plus good content along with noted performances made the film a hit.
# Please note films like Kaavalan, Avan Ivan and Mayakkam Enna were moderate hits.

For the Kolaveri Di couple, every New Year is exceptional — January 1 happens to be Aishwarya’s birthday as well!
“In fact, both of us are working on January 1 for our film 3 and it is going to be a night shoot. I will go to the temple on that day, then visit my parents and seek their blessings. We are planning to go out for lunch with the entire family,” says Aishwarya.
