So, there could even be a preponement in the launch Nano CNG considering the current market trend.

Tata Nano CNG Price :

The Nano CNG is expected to priced above Rs 15 to 20,000 than the petrol version. Tata Nano will attract more buyers due to the CNG fuel which has the benefits of cheaper running cost. At the time when Tata Motors is delaying the diesel version of the Nano, the Nano CNG will be aright choice to target prospective Nano buyers in India.

Tata Nano CNG fuel options :

Nano CNG will be available with two fuel options, CNG and petrol. The driver can switch between the fuels just by a touch of a button placed on the dashboard.

Tata Nano CNG engine :

A 624cc twin cylinder engine which the petrol variant uses will be used in the CNG version as well with required modifications made to suit the CNG fuel. The CNG version will have a 35 liter CNG tank and a 15 liter petrol tank.

The power is distributed through a four-speed manual gearbox. In order to ensure that there is no power loss in the CNG version, Tata Motors have used the sequential injection. So there will be no lag in the power or torque capacities compared to the petrol engine version.

For ensuring safety, Tata Motors has given a leak detection system which will cut off the supply of CNG in case of mildest of leakage. The petrol version of the Tata Nano offers a mileage of 25.4 kmpl which is the highest among petrol cars in India, and the CNG version will make the running cost more cheaper. With the petrol prices being hiked by Rs 8 and above, the Nano CNG would have a warm welcome in the market.

Kahaani Vidya Balan

Bollywood's Vidya Balan is certainly on a roll. The actress, who won the coveted national award for 'best actress' early this year for her mind-blowing performance as the late 'Silk' Smitha in the hit film The Dirty Picture, followed it up with another superb performance as a pregnant woman in the film Kahaani which went on to become a super-hit ventre.

With back-to-back hits, Vidya sure has her fans asking for more. Directed and co-produced by Sujoy Ghosh, Kahaani was produced at a cost of Rs.8 crores and grossed as many as Rs.100 crores in the all-India market. It is now reported that plans are afoot to remake Kahaani (which means 'Story' in English) in both Tamil and Telugu. Endemol India Ltd., a firm which produces Hindi television serials, would be producing the film.

Nemichand Jabak, popular financier and producer, would co-produce the Tamil and Telugu versions. Endemol, which is the world's largest production company with over 80 companies spread over 31 countries, has bagged the remake rights of Kahaani among heavy competition from its peers. Kahaani managed commercial success as well as critical acclaim for its script and Vidya's committed acting.

Vidya plays Vidya Bagchi, a woman who attempts to trace her husband who goes 'missing' during the Durga Pooja celebrations in Kolkata. Her travails and experience during the 'search' of her husband evoked sympathy among audiences in general and women in particular. Talks are on with some leading directors to direct the remake version simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.

It may be recalled that Nemichand had earlier produced hit films suh as Naan Avan Illai, Mysskin's Anjathay, Lawrence's Pandi and Dhanush's Maappillai.

Aishwarya Dhanush awarded Pride of Tamil Nadu at New York

Aishwarya Dhanush at New york Film Festival

Aishwarya Dhanush at New york Film Festival

Amid rumours that not 'all is well' between her and her husband Dhanush, Aishwarya left for U.S. late last week to take part in the Indian film festival held in New York. Aishwarya's debut directorial venture 3, which hit the screens a few months back but failed to make any notable impression, had been selected for screening at this festival.

Though the film failed to click with the masses, Aishwarya's maiden attempt at direction came in for appreciation from the critics as well as the print and television media. Aishwarya's departure for U.S. sans Dhanush's company raised quite a few eye-brows as it almost 'confirmed' that the misunderstanding which had crept in the relation between Aishwarya and Dhanush might be of 'serious proportions'.

Movie 3 was screened at an auditorium which was jam-packed with observers of the festival and fans of Dhanush and Shruti Haasan. Later, Aishwarya was given the Pride of Tamil Nadu award by the New York Tamil Sangham at a gala event at Queens Museum of Art in the Big Apple. Prakash M. Swamy, the president of the Sangam, appreciated Aishwarya's directorial instincts and described 3 as a 'bold film' by a debutant director.

He also had words of praise for Aishwarya for her simplicity off-screen despite being the elder daughter of superstar Rajinikanth and wife of Dhanush. He drew referenes to Aishwarya's dancing abilities and recalled her winning the Tamil Nadu Government's Kalaimaamani award for her prowess in bharatanatyam. Aishwarya was then felicitated with gifts by the organizers of the function.
