RJ Shiva busy with 5 projects in hand
It is now quite known that RJ Shiva will be doing a film with Sundar C, a multi-starrer featuring him alongside Vimal, Anjali and Bindhu Madhavi. The movie has now been christened 'Masala' and the director is currently busy zeroing in on the locations.
Gnana Rajashekaran, whose 'Barathi' won multiple national awards has signed Mirchi Shiva for his next. Speaking on this Shiva expressed that although the film will have no dearth for comedy, it will be based on an entirely different genre.
He will also be doing a film with Amudhan and a film with director Venkat Prabhu, who has earlier delivered laugh riots with Shiva.
Apart from these four films, a newbie, Arvind who will be donning the director's hat has signed Shiva for another laugh riot! The film has been tentatively titled 'Ulta'.
It looks like because of Shiva's busy schedule filled with comic entertainers, his plans for wielding the megaphone will see a postponement for quite sometime and go on floors only after he finishes each of these projects. Good going, Shiva!

It is said that director Shankar Dayal has included Nira Radia's 2G episode in Saguni. The story reveals the nexus between politician and businessmen. Sources add that how the alleged deals were struck with journalists, telecom companies will be shown in the forthcoming Tamil movie.
Talking about Karthi's character, Shankar Dayal said that the actor's role has negative shades but he is a do-gooder and wants to work for the change in the society. However, the filmmaker says that even though Saguni is a political satire, yet it has all the commercial elements.
Saguni also features Pranitha, Santhanam, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Manobala, Kota Srinivasa Rao and others in the cast.
Rajini’s Trust administrator receives death threat
It is said that the financier threatened to do away with the administrator if the loan amount 2.50 crores is not settled immediately.
Following this complaint, the police have arrested financier Sushil Gupta. The case is under investigation.
Dhanush Vs Simbu in Box-Office (Mayakkam Enna vs Osthi)
Dhanush and Silamabarasan are heading for a clash on historical day. The actors, who backed out of Diwali race due to the releases of 7aam Arivu and Velayudham, are heading for the Box Office battle on 11-11-11 (November 11, 2011).
Well, Dhanush starrer Mayakkam Enna and Simbu's Osthi are reportedly hitting the screens on November 11. It is reported that the makers of both the films are keen to release on this rare day. Incidentally, it is a Friday and they believe that it could be the right time to release their films. The interesting part of the story is that in both the Tamil movies, actress Richa Gangopadhyay is playing the female lead roles.

Aadhi's guest role in Arya-Naren starrer Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi?
“It was true that Raj Menon, who is a relative to Sindhu Menon (his co-star in ‘Eeram’) approached me for a cameo in the Arya-Naren starrer (Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi). I accepted the offer since the story was interesting. But there was no communication from Raj after that,” he says.
Saying that he would be happy to do guest roles if the script and his character impresses him, Aadhi says with a smile, “I am not so adamant to play lead roles alone. All that I want is to be part of meaningful movies which offer me challenging characters.”
On his next, ‘Aravaan’, he says, “I am eagerly looking forward for the film’s release. Director Vasanthabalan is an extremely talented filmmaker who has shaped up the movie in a beautiful way. I am sure that Aravaan would be a turning point in my acting career.”
Samaran - action packed thriller for Vishal
The first schedule of shoot will commence from 27th October in Chalakudy forests in Kerala. Later, the unit will fly to China for filming major portions and the makers are presently on plans to get the permission for the film.
Samaran has Trisha as the leading lady and Prakash Raj in a vital role. Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna is producing the film under their home banner GK Film Corporation. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music while Richard Nathan is handling the cinematography.
Sundar C named his film 'Masala' for Vimal-Mirchi Shiva
Sundar has left to Kumbakonam for scouting the locales of this new venture as the story is set in a village. Masala will be produced by Kushboo under the banner of Avni Cinemax. The film will start rolling its camera shortly and the actor-filmmaker will wrap up the entire shooting of Masala in a single schedule.
The movie also casts a popular actor in a cameo. However, the details are still under wraps as the director doesn't want to reveal it to maintain the suspense element.
Osthi’s release tentatively on November 18th
Osthi was one of the most expected films for Diwali as it stars Silambarasan in the lead and the release date being put off at the last moment is a sort of disappointment for al movie buffs especially Silambarasan's fans.
This film, incidentally, is a remake of the Hindi flick Dabangg. Richa plays Silambarasan's onscreen pair in Osthi. Direction is by Dharani.

The film revolves around two brothers Madhavan a cop and his younger brother Arya a jolly good ruffian and they fall in love with two bubbly sisters Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul.
The film set in Thoothukudi milieu promises to be a fun ride.
