Story Line:
A number of computer hackers upload programs they were paid to code to a woman named Mai Linh (Maggie Q). Soon, all of the unknown hackers are killed by explosives wired to their computers. Mai uses the programs to cause a brief computer outage at the FBI Cyber-Security Division in the J. Edgar Hoover Building. The FBI responds by initiating a nationwide roundup of all known top hackers. NYPD detective John McClane is assigned to bring a hacker named Matthew "Matt" Farrell (Justin Long) into FBI custody. McClane's unexpected arrival stops Farrell from unknowingly triggering the explosives meant for him. Mai has assassins as backup, but McClane is able to protect Farrell and kill most of their attackers. The next day, Mai's boss and companion, Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant), gives her orders to initiate his plot. The first phase involves taking control of the transportation grid (most particularly, traffic lights) and the stock market.
McClane takes Farrell to the FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., where Farrell is questioned. FBI director Miguel Bowman is uninterested in his surmise: Farrell believes that the terrorists are mounting a "fire sale" attack, taking advantage of the vulnerability of the nation's computer-controlled infrastructure. McClane and Farrell are driven in a convoy to a secure building, but Gabriel and Mai are able to locate Farrell and divert the convoy to gunmen waiting in a helicopter. In the ensuing firefight, McClane manages to destroy the helicopter with a police cruiser.
As McClane and Farrell recover, over the Fourth of July weekend, Gabriel televises a national broadcast of a fake video of the United States Capitol exploding, setting off a public panic. Farrell believes that the power grid will be the next target, and directs McClane to a utility superstation in West Virginia, where they find Mai and her henchmen. McClane is able to kill all of them. When Gabriel tries to contact Mai, he reaches McClane instead, who taunts him with the news of his dead girlfriend. Farrell transmits Gabriel's image to the FBI, allowing them to identify their nemesis. Enraged, Gabriel redirects all the natural gas in nearby pipelines to the station, but McClane and Farrell escape just before the resulting explosion causes a power outage over most of the East Coast. Farrell suggests that they get help from his hacker friend, Frederick "Warlock" Kaludis (Kevin Smith).
Warlock, who has power generators ready in case of an outage, locates the program Farrell created for Gabriel. It is being used in a Social Security Administration building at Woodlawn, Maryland, an unlikely target. They discover that it is actually a front for a highly classified government facility which Gabriel instituted during his tenure at the National Security Agency (NSA). In case of a total computer systems failure—such as the one Gabriel manufactured—every critical personal and financial record across the country is sent to servers there to create a backup. Gabriel's men take over the facility and start downloading a copy. Warlock is also able to explain Gabriel's motivation: a talented hacker, he was once a top expert for the NSA. However, he was fired and his reputation was tarnished when he tried to sound the alarm about America's vulnerability to cyber-warfare.
Gabriel detects Warlock's hack and speaks with him, McClane, and Farrell; he reveals to McClane that he has taken McClane's estranged daughter Lucy hostage. After Warlock traces Gabriel's location to Woodlawn, McClane and Farrell head there, where Farrell triggers an alarm in the facility to alert the FBI. As McClane deals with Gabriel's forces, Farrell manages to encrypt the downloaded data to block access to it, but is captured. Gabriel and his men then leave the facility, Farrell and Lucy in tow, before the FBI arrive. McClane hijacks Gabriel's semi and pursues. During the chase, McClane uses the truck's CB to contact Warlock who connects him to Bowman. McClane gives the license plate number of Gabriel's Hazmat van to Bowman so he can use the vehicle's LoJack to locate Gabriel and bring help. Gabriel hacks into the military's computers to deceive a United States Air Force F-35B Lightning II pilot into believing that McClane is a terrorist. The pilot attacks McClane's vehicle, but he manages to survive and inadvertently destroys the aircraft with falling debris. Escaping the destruction, McClane spots Gabriel's Hazmat van pulling into a nearby warehouse and heads there.
McClane dispatches all but one of Gabriel's henchmen, but Gabriel still holds Lucy and Farrell hostage. Gabriel's henchman, Emerson, shoots McClane in his shoulder and Gabriel makes McClane watch as he prepares to kill Lucy and Farrell. However, when Gabriel grinds his gun into McClane's wound, McClane fires it through his own shoulder and into Gabriel, killing him. Gabriel's last surviving henchman is killed by Farrell. Afterwards, to McClane's chagrin, Lucy and Farrell show interest in each other.

Story Line:
In the opening sequence, James Bond is on a mission that, if successful, will qualify him for double-0 status. He goes to Prague and kills an MI6 section chief, Dryden, who has leaked classified information, and his ally, Fisher. Elsewhere, Mr. White serves as a middleman introducing a banker, Le Chiffre, to a guerrilla group seeking a safe haven for its funds. Le Chiffre assures them that there is "no risk in the portfolio", but his investments actually involve considerable risk: he short-sells stock in successful companies and then engineers terrorist attacks to sink their share prices.
In his first mission as Agent 007, Bond goes to Madagascar in pursuit of an international bomb-maker named Mollaka. After a free running chase to the Nambutu embassy, Bond kills his target and blows up a part of the building in order to escape. He obtains Mollaka's mobile phone and discovers that it has received calls from Alex Dimitrios, an associate of Le Chiffre in the Bahamas. Bond travels there and seduces Dimitros' wife, Solange. While answering a phone call, Solange reveals that her husband is flying to Miami. Bond leaves to pursue him. In Miami, 007 kills Dimitrios and then follows Le Chiffre's henchman, Carlos, to the Miami Airport. There, Bond foils Le Chiffre's plan to destroy the prototype Skyfleet airliner and thus leaves the banker with a major loss.
Now under pressure to recoup his clients' money, Le Chiffre sets up a high-stakes Texas hold 'em tournament at the Casino Royale in Montenegro. Hoping that a defeat would force Le Chiffre to aid the British government in exchange for protection from his creditors, MI6 enters Bond into the tournament. He meets up with Mathis, his ally in Montenegro, and Vesper Lynd, a Treasury agent, who is assigned to look after his handling of the $10 million buy-in. After the tournament is underway for some time, Bond loses his initial stake. Vesper says that it would be a waste of money to continue to stake Bond and refuses to give him the $5 million he needs for a re-buy so he can continue playing.
Distraught over his failure, Bond resolves to assassinate Le Chiffre. Before he can, CIA agent Felix Leiter, who is also playing in the tournament, intervenes and offers to stake Bond in exchange for custody of Le Chiffre. Back in the game, Bond begins to amass chips. Le Chiffre and his associates attempt to kill Bond by poisoning his drink, but he survives and wins the tournament. Soon afterward, Le Chiffre abducts Vesper and uses her to lure Bond into a near-fatal car chase, which results in his capture as well. Le Chiffre tortures Bond's genitals for the access code to the game's winnings. When it becomes clear that Bond will not give in, Le Chiffre advances to castrate him, but Mr. White enters and kills Le Chiffre and his associates for their failure. Bond and Vesper are left alive.
Bond awakens in a hospital on Lake Como and orders Mathis, whom Le Chiffre identified as a double agent, arrested. Bond admits his love for Vesper and vows to quit the service before it strips him of his humanity. Accordingly, he posts his resignation to M and goes on a romantic holiday in Venice with Vesper. However, Bond soon learns that his poker winnings were never deposited in the Treasury's account. Realizing that Vesper has stolen them, he pursues her and members of the organization she is working for into a building under renovation. After killing the enemy guards outside and inside the building, Bond finds Vesper imprisoned in an elevator. Apologizing to him tearfully, she locks the inside door and the elevator plunges underwater. Bond attempts to rescue her, but she drowns before he can reach her. Mr. White, watching from a balcony, walks away with the money.
Bond, feeling betrayed, learns from M that Vesper had a French-Algerian boyfriend who was kidnapped by the organization behind Le Chiffre and Mr. White and that she agreed to deliver the money only if they would consent to leave Bond alive. He then discovers White's name and number in Vesper's mobile phone. White, arriving at a palatial estate near Lake Como, receives a phone call and asks for the caller to identify himself. As soon as he answers, he is shot in the leg. As he painfully crawls towards the villa, Bond appears, gun in hand, and responds, "The name's Bond. James Bond."

Story Line:

Mathayus (Johnson), the last true Akkadian mercenary, along with his half-brother and friend, is hired by King Pheron (Rees) to kill a sorcerer, whose prophetic powers allow the vicious Emperor Memnon (Brand) to rule his empire with an iron fist. He sneaks into Memnon's camp and finds his way to the sorcerer's tent, where he discovers that Memnon's sorcerer is actually a beautiful sorceress called Cassandra (Hu). Unfortunately, Mathayus is discovered and caught by the guards, thanks to a tip-off by Pheron's treacherous son, Takmet (Facinelli), leading to Mathayus's half-brother and friend being killed. Before Memnon can kill Mathayus, Cassandra protests, saying it wouldn't be wise because the gods favor him and to kill him would bring misfortune. Unable to kill Mathayus himself, Memnon has him buried to his neck in sand for fire ants to come eat his head. With the help of the horse thief Arpid (Heslov), he manages to escape. Now free again, Mathayus decides to avenge his brothers and kill Memnon.
At Memnon's palace, Cassandra tells Memnon that his armies will conquer the west and that Queen Isis (Howard) and her soldiers will scatter to the four winds. Memnon then gives orders to his men to have his soldiers prepare for the final campaign. When Cassandra tells Memnon that rivers of blood will never bring peace, Memnon responds that they can bring obedience and that when he becomes the King of Legends, Cassandra will take her place beside him as his queen. Cassandra tells him that if she becomes his lover, she will lose her prophetic sight, but Memnon says that once he destroys all his enemies, he will no longer need her gift of sight.
Mathayus gets into Gomorrah with the help of Arpid and a thieving little boy. Mathayus then sneaks into Memnon's castle along with the boy. He attempts to kill Memnon with his arrows during his daily practice routine, but when the boy who helped him gets caught and charged with stealing, Mathayus saves the boy by shooting the axe out of Tekmet's hands as he was about to cut the boy's hands off. This exposes him, and Mathayus is forced to retreat. After evading the guards, he literally falls into Cassandra's bath house and kidnaps her by going through its drain. Both Mathayus and Cassandra emerge from a water fountain in the city, the latter naked. Mathayus manages to wrap her up and get her into another outfit. He reveals that while he was hired to kill her, he thinks she can be more useful as bait to catch Memnon. The pair escape the city and meet up with Arpid and Mathayus's camel, heading out to the Valley of the Dead. Later that night, Cassandra tries to escape only to be tripped by a rope that is tied from her ankle to Mathayus. During their struggle, Cassandra tells Mathayus that she's not planning on returning to Memnon since he had enslaved her since she was a child. Mathayus frees her, but warns her that as long as she remains with him, she will be protected against even more dangers.
The next day, in the Valley of the Dead, Mathayus spots a small group of Memnon's soldiers looking for them, led by Memnon's right-hand man, Thorak (Moeller). Mathayus hides Arpid and Cassandra under a blanket, and rides off to challenge the soldiers under cover of a sandstorm. Mathayus brings down all of the soldiers in a cave until Thorak is apparently the only one left. After a brief struggle, Mathayus impales Thorak in the stomach, but Thorak uses his last moments to use his secret weapon: An arrow drenched in scorpion venom, which he uses to stab Mathayus in the leg before dying. The sandstorm passes, and Arpid and Cassandra find Mathayus's camel and Mathayus, half-dead from the poison. That night, Cassandra manages to heal him with her powers, despite the risk it poses to her own life, and says from then on Mathayus will have the blood of scorpions in him — hence the name "Scorpion King." Mathayus wonders why she would help him, and Cassandra explains that she believes he can save the people and free them from Memnon's tyranny.
Deeper in the desert, the trio catch up with Philos (Hill), Memnon's court magician (whom Mathayus had earlier encountered in Gomorrah), after he managed to escape from the city. He has been working in the desert, where he has perfected his explosive powder by the use of salt the desert has. Overjoyed to see Cassandra safe, Philos joins forces with Mathayus. The group finds an oasis, where they are ambushed by "bandits".
The "bandits" lead the group to their camp, where they meet up with Balthazar (Duncan), the leader of Memnon's enemies, and the two join forces, after a very intense battle between Mathayus and Balthazar in which they eventually realize they are on the same side. During a celebration at the camp of Balthazar's people, Cassandra has a vision of Memnon destroying the people and killing Mathayus. But Mathayus is undeterred, saying that he will kill Memnon. After an intimate night with Mathayus, Cassandra returns to Memnon to keep him from attacking the camp.
Mathayus and Balthazar go after her. A huge battle occurs between Memnon and his armies, and Mathayus and Balthazar and his people. Balthazar encounters, battles and kills Takmet, avenging Pheron. Mathayus, while fighting Memnon personally, is shot by an arrow but recovers, and uses the same arrow to kill the exhausted Memnon. During the ensuing battle, Arpid and Philos go underground to set up "explosives" from the explosive powder Philos created while in the desert. The duo is ambushed by Memnon's troops, to which Arpid quickly sets the powder ablaze after knocking the troops away. Both he and Philos quickly leave before the powder reached the "explosives" and explode. The explosions and the death of Memnon ends the battle, with victory for Balthazar and his people. Mathayus ascends to the throne as king, with Cassandra by his side as queen. She had not lost her powers of sight, it was a pretense to keep Memnon from taking advantage of her. She tells him that his rule will be peaceful and prosperous, but no kingdom lasts forever. Mathayus responds that the kingdom will make its own destiny.

Story Line:

Original xXx superspy Xander Cage is reportedly killed in Bora Bora (by Sgt. Cobb's strike team, which can be seen in the Director's Cut release). Imprisoned former US Navy SEAL Darius Stone (Ice Cube) is selected by Agent Augustus Gibbons (Samuel L. Jackson) to be the next triple-X agent. Gibbons and his new agent travel to Washington D.C., where they track a splinter faction of the U.S. military that attempts to overthrow the U.S. government and assassinate the President, led by Secretary of Defense and former 4-Star General George Deckert, Stone's former commanding officer (Willem Dafoe) whom he once led a mutiny against.
A man is tending an equine farm when he discovers dead bodies, and is killed by an assailant himself. Meanwhile, attackers use special explosives to break into an NSA bunker beneath the equine farm. There, NSA Agent Gibbons fends off the attackers before barely escaping himself. Sgt. Cobb is later revealed to be responsible for the attack on the bunker.
Later, Gibbons poses as Stone's lawyer and makes a deal with him in prison. Stone, who had been in prison at Leavenworth for assaulting Deckert, makes a daring escape. Stone is later told to recover a hard drive from the NSA bunker, while trying to escape Agent Kyle at the same time, and is rescued by Gibbons' assistant, Toby Lee Shavers. Some time later, Gibbons appears to be attacked in his home and killed, with Deckert covering up the plot. Afterwards, Stone meets up with Gibbons' contact, a beautiful blonde named Charlie, to get information and go to her safe house, but is framed so that it will appear that he murdered 3-Star General Pettibone, whom Cobb and Charlie actually killed.
Police arrive, and Agent Kyle enters the house and makes a deal with Stone, while Toby later hacks into the NSA to retrieve Deckert's plans. Afterwards, Stone infiltrates Deckert's troops aboard the USS Independence and discovers Gibbons is not dead, but being held prisoner by Deckert. Stone is discovered by Charlie, Gibbons orders him to escape and leave him. Before escaping Stone has a run-in with Cobb and it is revealed that Deckert is trying to overthrow the President.
Stone along with Toby enlist the aid of some of his former gang members to fight Deckert's force. Together they rob an 18 wheeler, secretly hauling guns and equipment. On the night of Deckert's plan they make their move, driving though the backs of buildings and warehouses. They end up carjacking a tank, and Stone helps Kyle infiltrate the Capitol building. After some gunfights (in which Charlie is shot by a liberated Gibbons), Deckert with Cobb abducts the President while he is making the State of the Union Address. They escape on a bullet train.
Stone pursues the bullet train with a Ford Shelby Cobra Concept and after blowing Cobb up, fights Deckert while helping the president escape in an adjacent helicopter. Stone leaps from the fleeing train while Gibbons destroys it with a missile, killing Deckert. The flaming wreckage from the train lights Stone in a silhouette as he dives into the river below, narrowly avoiding the wreckage that plunges in after him.
The President awards Agent Kyle and the Unknown Soldier (Stone) the Congressional Medal of Honor, as Stone goes back to his lifestyle. Deckert receives full honors at his funeral, somewhat to Stone's disgust. He and Lola part with her leaving him the Mustang, and he drives off; the xXx tattoo can be seen on the back of his neck.
The last scene shifts to the now rebuilt NSA Headquarters, where we see Gibbons, Steele and Shavers discussing what the next xXx agent should be; farther off the grid, a fresh face, a new model. To which Gibbons replies "I got the perfect candidate."

Story Line:
 Painter Sam (Jason Thompson) and his girlfriend Lisa (Tara Spencer-Nairn) have just moved into their new home when he experiences a terrible accident that leaves him crippled for life. Determined to help him, Lisa invokes the help of lawyer friend Steven (Michael Trucco) who has a crush on Lisa. Therefore, he takes a lawsuit against the company that made the faulty wiring on the bike which crashed and left him paralyzed. Instead of offering to take money, he declines, and gives her a red jewel he found in a box hidden away in his desk. The jewel, unknown to Steven, is the cell for the evil Djinn, which awakens and inhabits his body. Now under the Wishmaster's control, Steven begins making advances on Lisa, who is becoming increasingly distraught since Sam won't touch her anymore. She inadvertently casts three wishes while around Steven/Djinn, and the first two he grants, but the third is the hardest one, for Lisa to love Steven as he really is. Aware that his Djinn appearance will lose her forever, and becoming aware of his love for her, he refuses to grant it, though his other Djinn cohorts constantly beg him to grant the third wish and let their race inherit the earth. In the end, he agrees to offer Lisa a choice; take his hand as the second in command when the Djinn race takes over the world, or to be cast down to another dimension of hell. Struggling to make a decision, Sam arrives and tries to save the day with an angel's sword, but gets stabbed by the Djinn. But while the Djinn is still making attempts to convince Lisa to take his hand as the second in command, Sam invites Lisa to push the Djinn through the blade which is also in Sam. Lisa does that, and both the Djinn and Sam perish. Lisa makes it out of the house and tries to continue on with her life.

Story Line:

In 1692 in the Ipswich Colony in Massachusetts, five families with magical abilities, referred to as "the Power", formed a covenant of silence to protect themselves from persecution. Four of the five bloodlines (Danvers, Parry, Garwin, and Simms) survive to this day; one family (the Putnams), lusting for more power, was banished, their bloodline disappearing without a trace until now.
The Covenant tells the story of the Sons of Ipswich, four young students at the elite Spencer Academy who are bound by their sacred ancestry. As descendants of the original families that settled in Ipswich Colony in the 17th century, the boys have all been given amazing supernatural powers. But their ability to shape-shift, defy gravity and perform superhuman feats of strength comes at a terrible cost: every time one of the Sons of Ipswich uses his magical powers, he ages prematurely, and the temptation to abuse the power makes it more addictive than any drug. What's more, life is only going to get harder for the young friends; they are given a taste of the Power at age thirteen. Then at the moment each boy turns eighteen, he will "Ascend", gaining far more potent —and addictive— powers.
As the new school year begins at Spencer Academy, students have gathered for a wild outdoor party to mark the end of summer. Hundreds of feet above the gyrating bodies, Caleb Danvers (Steven Strait) and his three best friends, Pogue Parry (Taylor Kitsch), Reid Garwin (Toby Hemingway) and Tyler Simms (Chace Crawford) walk to the edge of a dizzying precipice and drop unseen and unscathed before casually joining the fray. At the party, newcomer Sarah Wenham (Laura Ramsey), a former Boston public-school student, is introduced to the boys by her roommate Kate (Jessica Lucas), Pogue's girlfriend. The girls also meet an intriguing transfer student named Chase Collins (Sebastian Stan), who quickly ingratiates himself into the group.
When the police arrive to disperse the partiers, Caleb and his friends evade the authorities by driving off a cliff and using their Powers to land safely. Returning home, Caleb comes across his mother Evelyn (Wendy Crewson) drinking in the living room. With Caleb's birthday just a few days away, his mother is terrified her son will find it impossible to resist the lure of the Power like his father before him. Caleb assures her he'll be able to handle his new abilities.
Back at the party site, the police discover the body of a student, dead of an apparent drug overdose. Meanwhile, Kate and Sarah talk about Caleb and his friends while they get ready for bed. Kate tells Sarah that the Sons of Ipswich are descended from the five founding families. When Sarah asks about the fifth family, Kate explains that the fifth family was killed during the Salem Witch Trials. Sarah then takes a shower but can't shake the creepy feeling that someone — or something — is watching her every move. A light bulb breaks and an apparition appears behind her. She runs into Reid in the hall and they investigate the showers together. After confirming there is no one else in the bathroom, Sarah heads back to her dorm, clearly shaken up.
As time passes, Caleb and Sarah grow closer while Pogue and Kate's relationship becomes strained due to Kate's new friendship with Chase Collins. At the same time, strange things begin happening to Caleb. He is confronted by a spectral image of the dead student, an entity he refers to as a Darkling, which can only be summoned by someone who possesses the Power. He also senses that one of the other Sons of Ipswich is using their Powers, casting spells so powerful that they're waking Caleb in the middle of the night. Pogue suggests that it is Reid misusing his Powers because he is jealous of Caleb for Ascending first. At a diner, Caleb and Reid get into a fight and Caleb confronts him about using his Powers, which Reid denies doing. Things are further complicated when the school headmaster (Kenneth Welsh) suspects Caleb and his friends are somehow involved in the death of the student at the outdoor party.
During a swim race, Caleb notices Chase's eyes blacken —a clear sign that he's using magic— and becomes so shocked he slams his head into the pool wall, knocking himself unconscious for a few moments. Letting the rest of the Covenant know of his discovery, Caleb and Pogue search for Chase's files in the school offices, only to find that Chase was in fact adopted. His birth name is revealed to be Chase Goodwin Pope and his adoptive parents, the Collins, were apparently killed in a car accident on his eighteenth birthday. As they leave, Caleb remembers reading about a woman named Agnes Goodwin Pope - aka Goody Pope - in the Book of Damnation, an ancient tome shared by the founding families. Meanwhile, Sarah returns to her dorm room to find a note from Kate saying she went to the school infirmary. It turns out that Kate was bitten all over by spiders, which relates to a spell that only the Covenant knows of.
Caleb and Pogue meet Reid and Tyler at a crypt where the book is kept and Caleb explains the significance of their discovery. He reminds them that John Putnam was the last member of the fifth family, executed during the Salem Witch Trials. One of the people who brought charges against him was a widow named Goody Pope, who claimed "that John Putnam came to her as an incubus in her dreams - after she was widowed." Caleb then reveals that her son Hagan Pope was born 10 months and 24 days after the death of her husband Jacob Pope, which means that Hagan Pope was actually the bastard son of John Putnam. As Hagan Pope and John Putnam's descendent, Chase is one of the Sons of Ipswich.
Pogue hears of Kate's illness and rushes to confront Chase, who hospitalizes him after revealing he only hurt Kate to get at Pogue, whom Chase wishes to use to get at Caleb. Chase and Caleb meet at Sarah's dorm room and Chase reveals that he wants more Power, having already stolen his father's share after becoming addicted to it. Chase threatens to kill everyone Caleb ever loved if he refuses to will his Power to Chase right after he Ascends. After the confrontation, Caleb tells Sarah everything about his family, how the Power is passed on to the firstborn son of each generation and how addictive the Power becomes once they Ascend. When Sarah suggests that someone else lend Caleb their Power so he can fight Chase, Caleb says that he won't allow that because, upon Ascension, the Power becomes a person's life and anyone who wills their Power away will die.
On the night of Caleb's birthday, Chase kidnaps Sarah and confronts Caleb at the old Putnam Barn. After Caleb Ascends, he and Chase face off in a duel of magic while Sarah's life hangs in the balance. The two throw Power against each other until the barn catches fire. When Caleb's father wills his Power to Caleb at the cost of his own life, Caleb uses the Power to send Chase into a portal. Once the fight is over, Caleb carries an unconscious Sarah outside of the barn and places her on a cart, where she comes to, and Pogue and Kate revive at the hospital. The barn burns down and no trace of Chase can be found anywhere, even though the firefighters have searched the whole area. Wondering where Chase has disappeared to, Caleb and Sarah drive away from the burnt remains of the barn.

Story Line:

John "Eraser" Kruger (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is a U.S. Marshal who works for the Federal Witness Security Protection Program (WITSEC). John is assigned to protect Dr. Lee Cullen (Vanessa L. Williams), a scientist and senior executive for Cyrez Corporation, a company that creates and manufactures weapons for the military. Lee has come across plans in which Cyrez plans to sell a top secret electronic pulse rifle to terrorist Sergei Ivanovich Petrofsky (Olek Krupa). With its unparalleled firepower, the sale of such weapons to the wrong hands would tip the balance of power. To procure evidence, Lee copies critical data onto two discs: one for the FBI, the other as evidence in order to publicize Cyrez's transgressions. However, William Donahue (James Cromwell), the CEO of Cyrez, catches wind of Lee's intentions and orders her into his office. Donahue commits suicide to escape punishment, and Lee barely escapes from Cyrez. Disappointed with the FBI because of failure to guarantee her safety, she delivers the evidence but refuses to submit herself to WITSEC, despite John's advice.
The same night, Lee is targeted for assassination by a group wielding a couple of the aforementioned pulse rifles. John rescues Lee and takes her to New York City to hide her. However, soon afterwards John learns from his mentor, fellow marshal Robert Deguerin (James Caan), that someone, perhaps a mole within the WITSEC, is targeting witnesses in top-level cases, including Lee. They proceed to the location of one of the targeted witnesses, but Deguerin kills the witness personally, revealing himself as Donahue's U.S. Marshal mole and the leader in the scam, which includes even Undersecretary of Defense Daniel Harper (Andy Romano). In order to facilitate his plans, Deguerin tries to frame John as the mole, but John escapes and rescues Lee in the nick of time.
Since the evidence against Cyrez has fallen into the hands of the enemy, John, Lee and Johnny Casteleone (Robert Pastorelli), a man whose life John once saved, penetrate the main office to read Lee's copy, since the data on the disc is encoded for Cyrez computers only. They are discovered, however; Deguerin kidnaps Lee and has her brought to the Baltimore docks where a railgun shipment is being loaded onto a terrorist freighter. With the aid of Johnny and his local relatives, John rescues Lee and prevents the railgun shipment.
After a hearing for Deguerin and his fellow conspirators a few weeks later, and with the implication that under civil law jurisdiction a conviction and sentence of the culprits will not be possible, John publicly fakes his and Lee's death, but subsequently eliminates Deguerin and the conspirators "erasing" them thoroughly in an arranged train accident.

Story Line:

A young woman with autism named Zen has developed uncanny martial arts skills by watching television, and from living next door to a Muay Thai academy. It is shown that Zen has uncanny reflexes and is able to catch balls thrown without even looking.
The girl is the daughter of Zin, the Thai wife of Yakuza boss Masashi.
Zin was previously the girlfriend of Thai gangster No. 8, who was jealous of her relationship with rival gangster Masashi. After Zin chose Masashi, he shot his own toe and forbids Zin from ever seeing him again. Zin asks Masashi to go back to Japan as they would not be able to be together safely. He begrudgingly leaves.
Soon after Zin finds herself pregnant and moves into a new place to get away from No. 8. She has a daughter that she names Zen. Soon it is discovered that Zen has autism and will need accommodation. As Zen gets older, one day Zin decides to tell Masashi about his daughter by writing him a letter. No. 8 finds out that Zin is in contact with Masashi and is furious. He visits Zin and cuts off one of Zin's toes, to remind her she is forbidden from seeing Masashi.
Zin is forced to move again to a house shared by a Muay Thai kickboxing school. Zen becomes infatuated with martial arts and begins to self-teach herself by mimicking the moves she sees as well as what she watches on television. One day when coming home from work Zin sees a poor little boy being picked on in the streets named Moom. Feeling sorry for his plight she takes him in.
Zin then falls ill with cancer and does not have the money to pay for chemo treatments. Zen and Moom attempt to make money to pay for these treatments by having people throw balls at her as a street performer. Unfortunately they are not able to earn enough to keep up with the treatments. One day, Moom discovers a list of debtors in an old notebook, from the days when Zin was a high-interest moneylender under No. 8. In order to get money to pay for her mother's cancer treatment, Zen and Moom decide to collect on the debts. The first attempt to collect the money turns violent, and Zen, remembering her movies, begins fighting back. This leads to further confrontations with various criminal gangs and, eventually, No. 8.
No. 8 learns that Zen is collecting debts for the sake of Zin's treatment. Zin finds out what Zen and Moom have been doing for money when her toe is sent to her as a message. She realizes there will be retaliation from No. 8 and sends Moom to mail a letter to Masashi asking for help. Moom is captured by No. 8's gang, but No. 8 has the letter mailed anyway, because he wants to deal with both Zin and Masashi. Masashi's receives the letter in Japan and leaves the Yakuza for the sake of his family. When Moom doesn't return, Zin goes to confront No. 8 to save Moom and try to reach a solution, bringing Zen with her. The conversation turns into a fight in which both Zin and No. 8 are wounded and No. 8 takes Zin hostage. Zen fights through many of No. 8's crew to get her mother back. Zen's father, Masashi, eventually makes it to the battle, but while he and Zin are fighting No. 8's men Zin is mortally wounded by No. 8. Angered by what has happened, Zen continues to battle through No. 8's men until she catches up with No. 8 and throws him off the 3rd story of a building to his death. She returns to her mother only to find her dead. Masashi adopts Zen.
