Warner Bros. has unleashed six character posters from director Steven Soderbergh's highly-anticipated viral thriller, CONTAGION. Take a look below where the sepia-toned posters featured the likes of Matt Damon, Marion Cotillard, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Laurence Fishburne, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Ra.One Is Less Than 100 Days Away From Its Release

Countdown has begun for Shahrukh Khan's RA.ONE. Less than 100 days remain for the Diwali release of the film and momentum is expected to gain with every passing week as the film starts unveiling many more promotional tools that it currently has in its kitty. Meanwhile the film's director RA.ONE already believes that he has a biggie in hand. This belief comes from the confidence that he has gained after spending over six years of his life into making this multi-crore VFX laden superhero film.
"As is the known fact, deep inside every filmmaker knows how his product has eventually shaped up. There are seldom any surprises that he carries even though he may project an expression of disbelief on the success or failure of his film," says Anubhav.
This confession coming from a man who has helmed a project as huge as RA.ONE (which is rumoured to be carrying a 175 crores budget) is surprising since most in his place would have wanted to keep a defensive stance.
"After working day in and night out for RA.ONE, I have come to realise what had happened after the success of DUS. It is as simple as that - I had got carried away by appreciating form more than content," admits Anubhav, "All my concentration was on getting the technique right and in the process of doing that, I wasn't concentrating as much on my story telling."
For someone who had incidentally made his debut with a sensitive and an unassuming small time film TUM BIN, this was nothing less than a wakeup call.
"I kicked myself and started remembering the times when I had started off with a film like TUM BIN which was about relationships rather than style. I started missing the love that I had got for my story and not the way I placed my camera. I said to myself that 'Hello, what are you up to? Where have your basics disappeared?' Today if I am positive about RA.ONE that is because I know about the areas where I had failed earlier and how I have improved upon them," says Anubhav.

Arya's cameo in OKOK climax !.

Kollywood actor Arya will be seen in a cameo role in forthcoming Oru Kal Oru Kannadi which is the debutant film of Udhayanidhi Stalin. Director Rajesh is directing OKOK movie while Hansika is zeroed in as love interest of Udhayanidhi Stalin in the movie.

In the past times Arya is seen in cameo role in Jeeva's Siva Manasula Sakthi which is also directed by Rajesh and then the actor turned as hero for Boss Engira Baskaran.The same way Arya will be seen in cameo role in OKOK movie and the actor is planning a new movie in the direction of Rajesh soon.

Arya's cameo role will be in the climax scenes of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi.Oru Kal Oru Kannadi movie is in final legs of shooting while the takie of the film will be finished in few days.

Singer Chinmayi won Nandi Awards 2010 for Best Dubbing Artiste

Singer Chinmayi has bagged a telugu Nandi Awards 2010 in Best Dubbing Artiste category for the telugu verison of Vinnaithandi Varuvaya 'Ye Maya Chesave' movie.

Singer/ actor Chinmayi is riding high as she has won a Nandi award and she shared her past with rehman and writes in her personal blog as This journey, too started from Rahman sir's studio when the studio engineer Karthik called me to test for Sillunu Oru Kadhal. I, in my opinion, had a very un-girly, un-sing-song voice".

"I have just normal voice but somehow director Krishna liked it and decided to have my voice for Bhoomika. In about five years I have done dubbing for 22 films and I have never planned something like this. VTV and YMC are definitely the best films in my dubbing career. I learned a lot from Gautham sir, especially subtlety in dubbing".Singer Chinmayi added further.

Nayanatara opts Hinduism for Prabhu Deva

South side upcoming couple Prabhu Deva-Nayanatara are leading to be in top news one day or the other with the latest updates of them either thier marriage venue or personal news.

Now the latest news is that Nayanatara who was born as a Christian by the name Diana Mariam Kurian now changed in to Hinduism on Sunday August 7 at Arya Samaj Temple in Chennai.

Nayanatara flwed down to Chennai from Kochi on Sunday morning and spotted at Arya Samaj Temple at Waltax Road in Chennai at 11am. The gurus there made Nayanatara to undergo Shuddhi Karma, a process involving a Vedic purification and a Homam where Nayan chanted the hymns from Veda and Gayathri mantra under the guidance of the priest.After completing all the neccesary rituals Nayanatara has given a Certificate of Conversion to Hinduism and she immediately rushed back by evening flight to Kochi.

ROWTHIRAM Tamil Movie Review - BY New Cine Buzz

Fresh after the success of Ko, Jiiva makes his appearance in Rowthiram, his home production, under the direction of newcomer Gokul, in which he essays the role of a young man who does not keep mum to the injustices around him and fights for the aggrieved souls. It is a first time combination for Jiiva and Shriya and the team certainly looks fresh and good.

True to the title of the film, Rowthiram deals with the anger of the protagonist, its upshot on his family and its cascading effect.

For a debut director, Gokul shows promise. He attempts to pack in his first film, romance and a lot of action and succeeds fairly. He shows mettle in the scenes that build up suspense when Jiiva gropes in the dark on the whereabouts of his family and also in the ironical climax. He is successful in building up the curiosity to know about the identity of Gowri. The scene where the gang moves to throw acid on Jiiva is well conceptualized and suggests the substance in Gokul. The dialogues between the gangsters are quite natural. Gokul also makes a noticeable cameo and it is a pity that his role is very small.

Some scenes are neatly done especially the family and the romance blocks. However, these are not sufficient to buoy the story up as there is inconsistency in the pace. While the first half fairly manages to hold the attention, Gokul stutters to keep the audience hooked in the second half and his struggle to move the film forward becomes evident. The long action sequences also exhausts. The snag for Rowthiram comes from its lengthiness.
It is a cakewalk for Jiiva who has delivered his role with understanding and subtlety. He shows the anguish through eyes in the sequence where his family leaves him without information. His agility in the action sequences are a plus to the film.

Shriya provides the color and warmth to this otherwise 'manly' and 'hot' film and surprisingly keeps her glamour in check in most places. Prakash Raj does a small cameo and in the supporting cast, it is Jaiprakash who walks away with the acting honors with his natural and nuanced portrayal. Ganesh Acharya as the gangster has not much to do but to jive to the 'Goli Maaro' number.

On the technical side, it is stunt master Anal Arasu who has much work with the film being action-centric. His stunt choreography would be spoken about but the slow motion shots in most of the action scenes act as a downer. Costumes and accessories by Deepali Noor especially for Shriya are refreshing and relatable. Cinematographer Shanmugasundaram is adequate in his responsibility.

There is no lasting effect in the music of Prakash Nikky. The songs are well picturized and choreographed although a couple of them do not justify their presence for instance Goli Maaro Gangster and Malai Mangum Neram.

Rowthiram has positives going in its favor. If the screen play had been more linear and taut, it would have made a huge impact.
