A source at the party reveals: “Nayan and Trisha really raised eyebrows with their camaraderie. Not only did Trisha break the ice by walking up and talking to Nayan but they soon bonded significantly over various topics and were seen hanging out together the whole night”.

Director Gautham Menon Wants Shruti for Vijay

Gautham Menon has plans to commence the shooting of Yohan Adhyayam Ondru next month, states sources. The film has Vijay as the hero and talks are on with Shruti Haasan to play his arm candy. The director is keen on roping her in as the Ilayathalapathy’s leading lady and negotiations are on.

Sources say that Shruti is extremely busy with a number of Telugu projects on hands and is trying to juggle her dates to accommodate Yohan Adhyayam Ondru.

Gautham is also in talks with the Oscar winner AR Rahman to score the music for this film.

Mugamoodi Trailer Launch on Sun Tv

It has already been well-publicised that the trailer launch of Mugamoodi was a grand event. Fans are eager to watch this event and will get an opportunity to do so tomorrow at 4:30 pm. The Mugamoodi trailer launch will be telecast on Sun TV tomorrow, July 8th, 2012. The advertisements on the private satellite channel have certainly raked up the expectation levels.

There were posters around every street corner with newly-wed couples Sneha and Prasanna with a question as to why they split. This created panic among their fans as the couple got married just a month ago.

Sources close to Prasanna said, ‘ it was nothing serious and just a marketing gimmick for an advertisement that will feature both of them’.

Actor Ajith’s Billa 2 beats Ranbir Kapoor’s Barfi on YouTube!

Ajith Kumar has proved his star power again, as his latest trailer of his upcoming movie Billa 2 has garnered more attention than a much-awaited Bollywood film. Well, the new teaser of the Tamil movie has got more hits on video-sharing site YouTube than Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz starrer Barfi.

Billa 2 and Barfi trailers were released on July 2 evening and both the trailers have been overwhelmingly welcomed by fans. But the interesting part of the story is that the teaser of Tamil film got more views than the Bollywood movie. While the Ajith Kumar’s film managed to cross five-lakh mark in 48 hours, the Ranbir Kapoor’s movie could only manage to cross 4.75 lakh hits.

At the end of second day, Ajith Kumar’s Billa 2 trailer had got 522,452, whereas Barfi had received 482,254 hits. However, the current views stand at 662,030 and 595,765, which clearly shows that Billa 2 is way ahead of Barfi.

Barfi is a romantic comedy film directed by Anurag Basu. It is a heart-warming tale of Murphy (a deaf and dumb boy) and Jhilmil (a mentally challenged girl) and Ileana D’Cruz. The film talks about the prankster Murphy, whose bitter-sweet relationships with Illeana and Priyanka would lead to twists and turns in their respective lives.

On the other end, Billa 2, which is a sequel to Billa, is a gangster-thriller starring Ajith Kumar, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in the leads. It is about David Billa’s transformation from an ordinary man to underworld kingpin. It is directed by Chakri Toleti.

Actress Pooja Kumar joins Shankar’s I

Director Shankar who is all set to kickstart ‘I’ starring Vikram in the lead role is all set to begin soon.
Samantha, who was supposed to play the female lead had opted out and the buzz is that she has been replaced by Amy Jackson of Madarassapattinam fame.

Now the latest buzz is that Pooja Kumar, who played Kamal Haasan’s wife in Vishwaroopam has been added to the cast of the movie.
Sources say that the movie also features Suresh Gopi, Ramkumar Ganesan, Prakashraj, Santhanam among others in the cast.
Music is by A R Rahman and cinematography is by PC Sreeram.
Sources add that a major portion of the movie would be shot in China.

Actress Samantha makes up for lost films; bags Prabhu Deva’s Hindi movie

Samantha, who lost two big movies like ManiRatnam’s Kadal and Shankar’s I due to her bad health in succession, seems to be making up for those projects. Well, the gorgeous lass has bagged a Hindi film to be directed by Prabhu Deva.

The buzz is that Prabhu Deva is all set to remake his blockbuster Telugu movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana in Hindi. The original movie starred Siddharth and Trisha Krishnan in the leads and it was also remade in Tamil by Jayam Raja. The Kollywood version was titled Something Something… Unakkum Enakkum, which featured Jayam Ravi and Trisha.
Prabhu Deva, who is still basking in the success ofRowdy Rathore, a remake of Siruthai, is gearing up to remake the film in Hindi. The choreographer-turned-director has reportedly offered the film toSamantha and she is yet to give her nod. The actress, who is currently undergoing acne treatment, has to complete a few Telugu films before signing this project, which is expected to take off in September.
Other details about the project are under wraps.

Billa II Records More Then 5,5 lakh hits in Two days

The Billa 2 new trailer has taken the Ajith Kumar fans by storm. The latest video footage, which was released on the evening of July 2, has got a record number of hits on video-sharing website Youtube.

The Ajith Kumar’s trailer recorded five lakh views in just 48 hours and it is said to be the highest ever views recorded for any trailer of a Thala film in two days. As of now, the clipping has been viewed 579,790 views on Youtube. The buzz is that the trailer has driven the actor’s fans crazy and they are watching it over and over again. The link is also being shared through social networking websites and e-mails. The latest trailer gives hint about David Billa’s transformation from an ordinary man to underworld kingpin. It also shows Ajith Kumar mouthing some punch dialogues and doing some hair-rising action sequences. Meenakshi Dixit, Vidyut Jamal and others are also seen in the trailer

However, the trailer, which was released on Monday (June 2) around 7 pm after the plans of launching it through a function went for a toss, received over 3.5 lakh hits in less than 24 hours.
Ajith Kumar, Parvathy Omanakuttan, and Bruna Abdullah starrer Billa 2 is directed by Chakri Toleti. The movie will hit the screens on July 13.
