Producer Y Surender Reddy of Idhudhanda Police – 2 “We learnt that almost 75 per cent of the scenes in Maasi are similar to the film done by Dr Rajashekar which is directed by his wife Jeevitha. Idhudhanda Police -2 is simultaneously being made in Tamil and Telugu. We brought a stay order from Civil Court of Hyderabad to stay the release of the film.
The producer further added “The film is the remake of Hindi film Risk which has Randeep Hooda, Vinod Khanna and Tanushree Dutta in the lead roles. We had snapped the remake rights for the film”.
Maasi is an action entertainer directed by G Kicha. Dhina has composed music for this film, produced by K S Kovai Mani
