Looks like Sony is pretty confident for their upcoming reboot of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, which hit theaters on July 3, 2012. Now they have announced that the sequel is immediately greenlighted and it will be set on May 2, 2014. Here's what an unnamed Sony executive had to say about the announcement."I think it speaks volumes about our confidence in what we are seeing on the new film and our desire to move quickly on the next installment."
Despite the confirmed release date, neither from the cast nor the crew members are currently known to ink the deals for the sequel.
