The director has choosed this place for the shoot because the railway authorities have given permission to shoot the film in the railway station. It is known that action sequence on a running train and bomb blast has been planned to be shot of Madhavan, Arya and twenty other fighters. This particular train scene is said to be the highlight of the film.
Vettai has Madhavan, Arya, Sameera Reddy and Amala Paul in the lead along with Thambi Ramaiah and Ashutosh Rana.
The film score is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, while cinematography is by Nirav Shah and editing handled by Anthony Gonsalves.
