Genelia has come out sturdily against rumours that she is getting married to actor Riteish Deshmukh any time soon.
"I am not getting married in 2012," says Genelia, who was in Hyderabad to walk the ramp.
On her long-time friendship with Ritesh moving to the next level after they were seen together at Akshay Kumar's party, she says, "Frankly, I dislike discussing my personal life. I would like to say that Riteish is a close friend. I have six films on the floors including three Bollywood films. My packed schedule doesn't allow any time for marital bliss."
About the trend of actresses from the South giving Bollywood a shot, she says, "I can't comment about others but I have been doing South films to showcase my versatility and to expand my fan base which already covers six languages."
In fact, her first Malayalam film Urumi was a hit and missed an Oscar nomination by an inch. "Director Santhosh Sivan told me that we missed it by just one vote. Working on the film was fascinating," she adds.
Regarding working with Ramcharan and Rana, she said: "Ramcharan is an introvert and Rana is very talkative. But both of them are dedicated and down-to-earth, despite being from star families," she says.
"Actors Ram and Siddharth are my good friends and we spend time together whenever I am here," she adds.
