Now it is officially confirmed that internationally reputed cinematographer Santosh Sivan will be the cinematographer for Vijay- Murugadoss film.
This untitled film is going to hit the floors in few days as Murugadoss has completed his prior assignments while Vijay is also wrapping up his upcoming projects Velayudham and Nanban. It is revealed that the film runs on the backdrop of Mumbai, where Vijay will be tracing his life beyond that in the Western Metropolis. Most of the shoot is expected to take place in Mumbai.
Former Kingfisher calendar girl Angela Johnson is debuting as heroine in Kollywood opposite Vijay.
On speaking about signing Vijay film Santosh Sivan said: "Yes, I have officially signed Vijay-Murugadoss film. Earlier I got an opportunity to work for Hindi version of Ghajini but was unable to take up that project due to various reasons. Right now I am on a break as my directorial venture Ceylon got postponed. So, I though I will make this time to work as a Director of Photography for Murugadoss film. I like Vijay films and looking forward to work with super combo Vijay- Murugadoss".
Aascar Ravichandran and S.A Chandrasekar will be producing the film on first copy basis and Fox Star Studios will release the film all over the world.
