Aamir Khan exposed the medical malpractice prevalent in the country and how the lifesaving drugs are overpriced in his television sow Satyameva Jayate telecast on May 27th. The star came under heavy criticism and the Indian Medial Association sought an apology from him but he refused citing his research on the issue.
Following this, a Parliamentary Panel has invited Aamir Khan to deliver a lecture and an interaction on Foreign Direct Investment in the pharmaceutical sector. The star will take part in this interaction tomorrow, June 21st, 2012 along with his Satyameva Jayate team.
The invitation for this lecture was from Shanta Kumar, Rajya Sabha MP belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party, who heads the parliamentary standing committee on commerce.
