Shankar is all set to start shooting his upcoming film starring Vikram and Samantha in lead roles. Buzz in Kollywood is that Shankar had been waiting for Vikram to come back from London. Vikram had been shooting for next bilingual film Thandavam for the past few weeks in London. Now that the major overseas schedule has been wrapped up, Vikram is ready to join Shankar's film. Meanwhile, if the rumours are to be believed, Samantha has given bulk dates to Shankar and the ace director has reportedly asked her not to sign any new film till they finish shooting his film. AM Ratnam is going to produce this film which is based on election commission. More details will be announced soon.
