The story revolves around a Mafia gambling gang during the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket season.

For the first time in his career Ajith played a negative role named Vinayak Mahadevan while Action king Arjun plays C.I.D Officer who chases Thala.

The film carries many interesting twists and twirls along hair rising bike stunts, car stunts done by Thala apart from superb action sequences.

Ajith has occupied the whole screen until the end of the film and his performance is at its peaks.

The first half of the film has very few entertaining scenes, comedy is a big let down but nevertheless entertaining but the director could have worked out on the screenplay along with editing. The second is said to be the highlight of the film with never expected twist in the story. This final commercial twist will definitely work in the movie's favor.
