Kollywood is abuzz with Vikram’s Saamy going under the Bollywood remake grinder pretty soon. It’s heard that the Hindi version of Saamy expected to take of by March end will be directed by KS Ravikumar, who expects to be wrap up Rajini’s Kochadaiyaan shoots by then. The Bollywood remake will have popular actor Sanjay Dutt donning the lead with the heroine not yet confirmed.
Now if Vikram fans are disheartened with that replacement, don’t worry our hero has other plans going for him. News is that the actor will star in an all new Bollywood affair in a movie titled David.The flick David will be directed by Bejoy Nambiar who marked his debut with the critically acclaimed Shaitan . Vikram’s David will keep in trend with the gangsta-comedy theme, as the actor confirmed the news saying, “My next will be with Bejoy Nambiar for a Bollywood movie. I will reveal all details once things are finalized but assuredly the shooting will kick of in 2012.” The Kollywood star already has a period flick Karikalan and another release in Thaandavam for the waiting. Adding to that is David for the New Year.
