Vikram’s popularity in Tollywood doesn’t need an explanation. Apparently to cash in on it, his forthcoming film ‘Rajapattai’ will be released in Telugu too. “Dubbing works are already over,” say sources. Titled ‘Veedinthe’ (meaning ‘he is like that’), the Telugu version is expected to hit the screens simultaneously with the Tamil original, that is in the last week of December.An audio launch is also being planned in Hyderabad.
With Deeksha Seth, who is a popular face in Andhra Pradesh playing the heroine, ‘Rajapattai’ also stars veteran filmmaker K Vishwanath, Reemma Sen and Shriya Sen, and all have carved a niche for themselves among the Telugu audience.
“Thanks to these factors, the makers firmly that the film would strike a chord in Andhra Pradesh too. Rajapattai is a full-fledged commercial entertainer which will be a treat to the audience,” sources say.
